Adventures of Superman
No. 440 (May 1988 ) Synopsis: Superman is excited about his first date with Wonder Woman. After meeting up with Batman briefly, stopping a few would-be villains, and making a quick stop by the Kent Farm for a new cape, he finally meets up with Wonder Woman and greets her with their first kiss. Their “date” is continued in Action #600.
No. 475 (February 1991) (Note: The WW in this issue is actually a robot).
No. 522 (April 1995) Synopsis: Metropolis is destroyed and Superman needs help to rebuild. Unfortunately, rebuilding will have to wait until after they deal with a hostage situation and battle a few monsters. As Wonder Woman battles one of the monsters, Superman flies in and asks if she needs help, declining his offer and ending the battle by lassoing her opponent, Superman asks her if the lasso makes people do what she tells them. Wonder Woman says “ No, and I’ve never really needed such a power.” Superman’s reply? A silly grin and “No, I don’t expect you do!”

No. 628 (July 2004 ) Synopsis: Lois is going to Umec and asks Wonder Woman to watch over Superman while she is gone.

No. 642 (September 2005) “Sacrifice Pt. 3” Remembrance Synopsis: This is part three to the Sacrifice tie-in. Superman stands over the battered body of Batman. He is responsible for Batman's injuries but he cannot remember beating him. Diana treats Bruce with the purple ray and Superman begs her to remember that he would never knowingly do something like that. She said she knows but it still does not make the thought of a Superman out of control less frightening. Superman sits with the League and tells them he thought it was Ruin he was fighting. J'onn Jonzz offers to try to enter Kal's mind to see if he can find out what was causing the mental manipulation. He, however, requests to have Diana go in with him as it would make his invasion "easier". Kal takes Diana's hand and we see the images. It turns out to that Max Lord was manipulating him. The League decides for his own safety, as well as others, to Superman put him in a transportation loop. Diana leaves with an injured Bruce and Max takes back control of Superman's mind. Superman easily takes everyone down and flees, thinking they are the ones being mind controlled. Diana returns and is given Superman's co-ordinates. She goes after him with the kryponite ring she got from Batman. She encounters Max Lord himself who has Superman waiting for her.
No. 643 (October 2005) “Sacrifice Aftermath” Synopsis: Clark recounts to Lois how it felt being mind controlled and feeling seeing her torn apart by Doomsday; his disbelief and horror at realizing Diana had killed Max Lord in cold blood, and finally getting into an argument with Bruce over Brother Eye. Superman confesses to Lois he does not know what to do and she tries to comfort him.
