So the latest word is that she's out.

While even an official decree can be a smokescreen, it's a little disappointing. I guess if you wanted to remain optimistic, it's not like they'd ever say 8 months before movie's release that WW was going to be in it.

And if she's not in it, at least it lowers the risk that her introduction to "man's world" gets done too hastily, by trying to do too much with too many characters in one movie.

I was hoping for a reference. Too much to hope for cameo. But there still might be hope for a JL. They did say MOS will set the tone for JL. So that's something.

Agreed. I mean, if only from a marketing point of view, if they hook up Clark and Lois, they'd be commiting commercial suicide. Predictability is the last thing that will get more people into theatres, and the whole SM/LL thing is one of the most predictable and overused (and therefore) boring concepts around.
